LATEST REPORT 05JAN09:First of all a Happy New Year to you all,the fishing has been good as usuall, but having spent time on other lakes,we havent been catching as many fish as we would ,if we had been fishing Chira,as you know Chira is a prelific daytime water, but the pull of some really big fish is just too much of a temptation for some people, they feel they can catch 20s regulary at home,so why not whilst on holiday have a go for a big one!Lots of clients at the moment,a good start to the new year, speak soon

LATEST CATCH REPORT 24NOV:The last 2/3 weeks,we have only spent a day here and there on Chira as some of our repeat clients, want to try for slightly bigger fish on the north lake, nice to see you guys back again, year after year.On the days we have fished Chira,Matt had 4 fish to mid 20s,four guys from Estonia,2 of these lads had 2 fish,The boys from
sweden, had 2 fish and one lost 2!!.The interest in the other lake is more for you harden carp anglers, definately more
difficult than Chira, but there are much
bigger fish!I have had a few 40s and a 55lbcommon carpfrom here, which we are lead to believe is the biggest carp to come from gran canaria!A client of mine
also had 2 40s a common and a mirror!fantastic fishing!
Chira is a great water for day sessions
with clients, but for people who want
something a bit different,or people who have been with me before, this is a great alternative.Just some news, its nice to know my life time fishing friend Martin Locke of Solar Tackle, will be comming out in the new year,to have a go with me!its been a long time since we fished together, looking forward to that ....
Thats it for now

everyday,in fact out of this world,I have never fished a lake without a phone signal,or no service!I saw enough to make me go back!
Dave thanks for the great few days fishing, your company was great, and I cant wait for the next trip out, this unknown lake, will definately break your personal best!

Thanks Dave for an incredible day. The drive to and from the lake Chira with a fantastic scenery was breathtaking, (after this, who needs a jeep-safari). My son Anders caugth a 16 lb Mirror-carp and I caugth a 25 lb Mirror as well. Personal records so far, for both was 7 lb.
My recommendations are. Not only will you most certainly catch a carp, maybe even your biggest, but also will you be treated very nicely, cause Dave is a vere likable person, and a good Chef too, dont waste your money on a Jeep Safari, here you will get the full package (Scenery, Exitement, Food, Drinks, Knowledge, good Compagnionship, and most of all fantastic Fishing). Just take a look at the Photo Gallery.
We'll be back next year, going for the 40 Lbs.
many regards from Anders and Dennis.

Thanks Dave for a fantastic days fishing. The day started with the drive up to the lakes. It was dark when we set off but as the light was suddenly switched on ( yes it was that quick) and were treated with scenery that just blew your mind away. We arrived at the lake and stood in awe as we watched these giant Carp jumping. My Partners grandson Tom had , 3 fish 22lb, 27 .5 lb and a 31.5. all mirrors. We have never seen fish fight like these and will always remember Toms big smile when he saw the size or these fish on the bank. This day was a day I will never forget and I know Tom wont. We will be back!!!!!!!!!!
If you are undecided about trying fishing here don’t be! You will be spending the day with the very knowledgeable and likable Dave. The drive is incredible the fishing is out of this world, and if you ask Dave to point you in the direction of the Red Roses restaurant in Porta Rica and ask for the shoulder of lamb you will have a meal of a lifetime as well.

Thank you for hospitality, you made me and my family really welcome we all enjoyed your company, red rose nice nosh mate loved it,had a greta day fishing, the drive up to the lake was fantastis, the veiws and scenary were amazing it was worth it just for the drive up there, the lake was beautiful, ive never seen anything like it,we spent 16 hours over two days fishing. The first day,10.30am first run snapped up before i got to the rod, second run about 1.30pm,when i mean run it went of like a steam train, but sadly lost it in a snag, dave sad it was a big fish! i was well gutted,
Day 2
fished with regan from manchester,i caught 16lb about 10.00am,then regan hooked in to another monster it came up into the margins and i never seen a carp like it,it was massive, but sadley losing after a 25 min fight, dave said it was 45+ easy, once again had a billiant time and would highley reccomend it to anglers and non anglers.
Its worth ever penny, dave will be in contact to book some session up in may 2009.
